Administrative Drop
Op3.04-34 Administrative Drop
The University reserves the right to administratively drop a student from a class for:
- student conduct;
- student safety or protection concerns;
- failure to satisfy prerequisite requirements;
- enrollment in error;
- non-attendance; or
- other circumstances that make the student ineligible to remain enrolled.
This policy applies to all University students. Administrative drops may affect tuition charges, financial aid eligibility, enrollment status, and academic progress. The University will make reasonable efforts to notify students before an administrative drop; however, in circumstances requiring immediate action, notice may be provided after the drop occurs.
