Op3.04-24 Enrollment Status Policy

Enrollment status may be reported to external agencies such as the National Student Clearinghouse. Audited classes are excluded when determining enrollment status. For official reporting purposes, Missouri State uses the following definitions:

Full-Time

	Fall or Spring	Summer
Undergraduate	12 or more credit hours	12 or more credit hours
Graduate/Professional	9 or more credit hours	6 or more credit hours

Three-Quarter Time

	Fall or Spring	Summer
Undergraduate	9-11 credit hours	9-11 credit hours
Graduate/Professional	7-8 credit hours	4-5 credit hours

Half-Time

	Fall or Spring	Summer
Undergraduate	6-8 credit hours	6-8 credit hours
Graduate/Professional	5-6 credit hours	3 credit hours

Less Than Half-Time

	Fall or Spring	Summer
Undergraduate	Fewer than 6 credit hours	Fewer than 6 credit hours
Graduate/Professional	Fewer than 5 credit hours	Fewer than 3 credit hours
