Op2.07 Environmental Management
Missouri State University is committed to the safe and responsible acquisition, storage, use, and disposal of all hazardous materials and waste in order to protect the health of students, faculty, staff, and area citizens, prevent pollution, and maintain compliance with all local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations.
All Missouri State University campuses and employees will be pro-active in waste reduction and in the proper handling, control, and disposal of hazardous waste, hazardous materials, and other pollutants by following all University established environmental plans and procedures.
The department of Environmental Management is assigned the responsibility to implement this policy through the establishment of plans and procedures in accordance with local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations. The established plans and procedures will be available to all members of the campus community on the Environmental Management website.
