Op10.12 Magers Health and Wellness Center Eligibility and Fees
All students currently enrolled and their household members (age 6 and older) at Missouri
State University who have prepaid as a part of the assessed tuition and fees or paid
the health fee prior or at the time of service of their first visit are eligible for
the services of Magers Health and Wellness Center.
Missouri State faculty, staff, retirees, and their household members (age 6 and older)
may also receive services. They will be responsible for their co-pay and office visits
per their insurance plan(s). Missouri State University insured employees should check
their insurance benefit plan that encourages the use of Magers Health and Wellness
services for additional benefits. Employees are not required to use paid sick time
off benefits to use Magers Health and Wellness services.
Professional Courtesy visit is approved for visitors and guests for accidental or
emergent care. A courtesy visit in the immediate care service area is allowed for
assessment and care for a one-time visit. Care beyond this visit or scope of care
will be referred to appropriate services within the community. When a cost is necessary
for service it will be assessed at the appropriate retail value.
