Developing a Culture of Innovation
What if we never said, “That’s how we’ve always done it” again? We’d be more creative and innovative in addressing current issues, problems and concerns.
In an Innovation Accelerator, we’ll do just that. We’ll break down barriers between faculty, staff and students to find the best ideas to improve student success, save money or improve the university overall.
Participants will:- Pitch ideas.
- Gather feedback.
- Vote on everyone’s ideas.
- Join a team to fully flesh out one of the top ideas.
It culminates in a final team presentation, similar to “Shark Tank.” Decision makers will evaluate and identify the top ideas.
While finding a great idea is one goal of an Innovation Accelerator, we also want to develop a culture of innovation – where anyone can lead, everyone looks for new possibilities and we all shift perspectives as we problem solve.
