The following email was sent to Missouri State employees on April 5, 2021.
Subject: Get vaccinated and protect our community
All Missouri State University faculty and staff are currently eligible to receive a COVID‑19 vaccine. On April 9, all Missourians age 16+ – including our students – also become eligible for vaccination.
In our community, the COVID‑19 vaccination rate and positivity rate are trending in the right direction.
As we move toward fall, we hope things will continue to improve so that our campus can return to normal – or close to it. One way to make this happen is to get our campus community fully vaccinated.
If you have not already, you can schedule your vaccine appointment through MyHealth Portal.
We anticipate that we will continue to receive regular vaccine shipments at Magers Health and Wellness Center, and you should take advantage of this opportunity.
To further encourage vaccination, the COVID‑19 vaccine will be included as part of the 2022 wellness incentive.
