Faculty Student Judicial Commission

Reports to the Office of the President

Purpose: The Faculty-Student Judicial Commission serve as members of the University Hearing Panel, who may serve in the capacity of a Hearing Authority or Hearing Authority Advisor within a conduct hearing as outlined in the Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities (“Code”). Additionally, FSJC members assist the Office of Student Conduct in the Office’s annual review of the Code as faculty representatives.

Membership: The Faculty-Student Judicial Commission (FSJC) is a committee of faculty members elected for a two-year term by the Faculty Senate. The FSJC Chair is appointed by the President of the University. Its authority is confirmed by the President of the University.
