Biography
Richard Amberg has decades of experience as a professional screenwriter. Since 2004, he’s sold multiple theatrical feature film scripts, original television series, and television movies to independent financiers, studios, and networks, including Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network. He is a vested member of the Writer’s Guild of America, West. Since joining Missouri State in 2013, he’s balanced his own writing with teaching and mentoring students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. He’s always happy to see his students win recognition for their work and is especially thrilled to see former students’ work on the big screen.
