The Department of Communication, Media, Journalism and Film (CMJF) grants credit for several courses on the basis of:
- Prior learning for the following class: MED 130 Fundamentals of Media Convergence
- International Baccalaureate (IB) exam scores (MED 274 Introduction to Film and MED 000 Lower Division Media Elective)
