Report Elevator Issues or Emergencies
If you are trapped in an elevator please note that the emergency phone in an elevator will connect you directly to MSU University Safety. They will provide assistance in the event of an elevator emergency and work with Work Management in contacting the Elevator Service Contractor immediately to assist you.
If you are outside of an elevator and are aware of an elevator emergency, please contact MSU University Safety at 417-836-5509 for assistance.
Non-Emergency Elevator Issues

Facilities Management is responsible for facilitating elevator repair services for the University. We outsource the services to a third party contract and coordinate the work thru Work Management.
If you have an elevator issue you would like to report, we have an electronic request system that notifies our Work Management office of your request. A Work Order will be created and the Elevator Service Contractor will be contacted to address the issue.
