Visitor parking

Visitor parking, which was previously located in lot 13 at the corner of National Avenue and Bear Boulevard, has been permanently relocated due to the construction of Missouri State University’s new Student Admissions and Success Center.

Visitor parking permits

Visitors to campus may park in lot 14, Bear Park North (lot 43) or any other yellow lot with a visitor’s parking permit. Temporary visitor parking permits may be obtained at:

Parking meters

Visitors are welcome to park in any metered spaces and pay the meters. For information on parking meter locations, please see the Printable Parking Map. (You need Adobe Acrobat to access this file.)

Weekend parking

Visitors may park in reserved, commuter and residence hall lots without a permit from 5 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday, except where posted otherwise.

Faculty, staff and student parking

To park on campus, members of the University community (students, faculty, staff) must register their vehicles and display a current Missouri State University parking permit. Visit Parking Administration to learn more.

Student Admission and Success Center

The new Student Admission and Success Center, which will be brimming with Bears pride, will serve as a welcoming space to campus for prospective students and their families.

This maroon-and-white filled facility is being constructed at the corner of National Avenue and Bear Boulevard.  The center will host a welcoming lobby, offices, a conference room, a 100-seat auditorium and restrooms. Learn more about the construction of this facility.

When the center opens, visitor parking will be relocated to lot 14, which will be adjacent to the new building.
