Thank you for your interest in the Missouri State University (MSU) Staff Senate. The MSU Staff Senate is a diverse representative body of employees    that promotes communication between University employees and the University administration. Your MSU Staff Senate is comprised of a representative from each of the seven campus divisions.
 
Our responsibility to MSU includes, but is not limited to, reviewing policies/procedures and offering recommendations regarding the interests of staff and non-faculty employees; assisting in the communication of issues and activities affecting staff members; serving as a liaison between the President and his staff; promoting participation in the University community; and encouraging a sense of community among all University employees.
 
In addition, your MSU Staff Senate is actively engaged in community activities. Our most recent community efforts include spearheading MSU’s participation in Denim Days and sponsoring other campus-wide activities such as assisting new students with moving into the dorms.
