We want your first semester at Missouri State to be as successful as possible! Learn more about SOAR.

Who attends SOAR

Attendance at a SOAR session is required of all new students who have fewer than 24 credit hours earned after their high school graduation. Hours earned prior to high school graduation, such as in dual enrollment courses, do not count toward this requirement.

SOAR also offers programming specific to families of new students.
