Bear Line offers a convenient and safe way to travel -- no matter where your destination on campus. Just JUMP ON from any of the well-lit, covered shuttle stops conveniently located across campus. Shuttles are climate controlled and offer a comfortable ride. No individual fares will be charged to any passenger. Buses are specially equipped for persons with disabilities.

Bear Line can help take the pressure off finding a parking place in crowded lots. Simply park in one of the spacious, covered parking garages -- Bear Park North, located off John Q. Hammons Parkway with entrances on Cherry and Elm Streets, and Bear Park South, located at the intersection of Holland and Grand -- and catch the shuttle. Just be sure to arrive about 15 minutes early to allow plenty of time to reach your destination.

Shuttle Routes
Shuttles operate on weekday routes (Gold, Blue, Red, Green, Orange, Purple, Maroon) from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Also in operation is an evening shuttle route (Maroon) from 6:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. during fall and spring semesters, Sunday-Wednesday; 6 p.m. - 2 a.m. Thursday. The shuttles run every 5-12 minutes. Drivers make every effort to operate on schedule; however, slight variations may occur. (See chart below for more details.)

NEW PINK ROUTE!
Service will start on Friday, January 20th, 2012 for the new Pink Route. The Pink Route will serve downtown Springfield to specific areas of campus, and will continue on a trial basis through March 17th, 2012. The route will run every Friday and Saturday evening from 6pm until 2am. The Pink Route will start at Plaster Student Union then continue with stops at Florence & Cherry, Greek Row (both stops), Kentwood Hall, Park Central Square, and Hammons Student Center before returning to PSU.
