Parking Administration


The Parking Office is closed for Winter Break starting Monday, December 22, 2014 through Friday, January 2, 2015. We will re-open Monday, January 5th, 2015 @ 8am and will resume normal office hours.


In order for a member of the University community (students, faculty, staff) to park a vehicle on University property, the vehicle must be registered and have a current Missouri State University parking permit properly displayed at all times.

You may register your vehicle and purchase a parking permit at the Parking Administration Office in the Transit Operations Center at 700 E. Elm Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or purchase online. 

Street closures:

The following streets will be blocked between Monday, December 15th, 2014 through Sunday, January 4th, 2015

to allow for construction of chiller lines to the New Welcome Center:

 Madison Street @ National Avenue

 Florence Avenue just south of the entrances to Lots 6 & 14 (the loading dock at the Bookstore will remain open)

Note: Taylor Health parking (Lot 6) will remain open.

ADDITONAL CLOSURE of Street and Sidewalk area - Monday January 5th through Friday January 9th - 800 block of Elm Street (between John Q Hammons PKWY and Bear Park North Garage) will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic to allow for the installation of underground utilities. Access will remain open to adjacent properties, and all parking lots may be reached by alternate routes during this time.

Lot closures:
