Foundation Awards in Teaching, Research and Service

Foundation Awards are presented annually to full-time faculty members in recognition of excellence in the areas of teaching, research and/or creative activities, and service. Six Foundation Awards will be presented for the 2009-2010 academic year, and each award recipient will receive a $3,600 award funded by the Missouri State University Foundation.

If you are nominating another person, your letter of nomination (please copy your nominee) must be submitted to the Office of the Provost, attn: Mary Lynne Golden, by November 18, 2009. If you are self-nominating, a nomination form, which is available at the link below, must be submitted to the Office of the Provost, attn: Mary Lynne Golden, by November 18, 2009.

The full application for a Foundation Award is due to the appropriate departmental office by January 12, 2010.

Departmental offices must forward applications to the dean’s office by January 18, 2010.

Deans must forward applications for Foundation Awards to the Office of the Provost by January 21, 2010.

Recipients of the Foundation Awards for Teaching, Research, and Service will be selected by the Foundation Awards Committee (subject to the approval of the provost and president), and award winners will be contacted by early April and will be recognized at the All Faculty Recognition Reception to be held on Monday, May 3, 2010.
