The annual Staff Service Awards Luncheon in West Plains, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting, meetings of the Higher Education Mission Review Task Force, the Missouri Council for Public Higher Education and the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education, and the February meeting of the Board of Governors highlight the weeks of Jan. 23 – Feb. 5, 2017 for Missouri State University President Clif Smart.

Jan. 23 – Jan. 26

President Smart will attend MarooNation events and meetings with alumni, donors and friends of Missouri State in Florida.

Friday, Jan. 27

President Smart will attend the West Plains campus annual Staff Service Awards Luncheon and ceremony. That evening he will attend the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting.

Saturday, Jan. 28

President Smart will attend the Chinese New Year Banquet and Show

Sunday, Jan. 29

President Smart will attend the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony.

Monday, Jan. 30

President Smart will attend a meeting of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Visioning Committee. That evening he will interview students applying to be University Ambassadors.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

President Smart will attend the men’s basketball game against Loyola University Chicago.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

President Smart will attend a meeting of the Missouri Department of Higher Education Mission Review Task Force. He will also chair a meeting of the Missouri Council for Public Higher Education.

Thursday, Feb. 2

President Smart will attend the meeting of the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education. He will also attend an executive enrollment management committee meeting.

Friday, Feb. 3

President Smart will attend the Board of Governors committee meeting and regular meeting.

Saturday, Feb. 4

President Smart will drop the puck at the MSU Ice Bears game.

Throughout the weeks

President Smart will meet with alumni, donors and friends of Missouri State.
