Weeks of Aug. 22 – Sept. 4, 2016

 All college meetings, a Hawthorn Foundation Board of Directors meeting, the Centennial Leaders Welcome Banquet, the House Calls program and the Bears home opener football game highlight the weeks of Aug. 22 – Sept. 4 for Missouri State University President Clif Smart.

 Monday, Aug. 22

President Smart will attend the Commerce Bank Football Luncheon. That afternoon he will attend a reception celebrating the retirement of Dr. Kris Sutliff.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

President Smart will speak at the College of Natural and Applied Sciences all college meeting.

Thursday, Aug. 25

President Smart will join other community leaders at the Good Community Leadership Meeting at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. He will also attend the joint meeting of staff from Missouri State University and the City of Springfield. That afternoon, President Smart will attend the College of Humanities and Public Affairs all college meeting.

Friday, Aug. 26

President Smart will attend a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Hawthorn Foundation.

Monday, Aug. 29

President Smart will attend the luncheon at the Missouri State University swimming and diving golf tournament. That afternoon he will attend a reception celebrating the retirement of Dr. Anson Elliott.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

President Smart will speak at the Welcome Banquet for Missouri State’s Centennial Leaders.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

President Smart will travel to Kansas City for meetings with donors. That evening, he will visit with residence hall students as part of the university’s House Calls program.

Thursday, Sept. 1

President Smart will host guests at his tent in Bearfest Village and attend the Bears home opener football game against Southwestern University.

Friday, Sept. 2

President Smart will attend an Executive Enrollment Management Committee meeting.

Throughout the weeks

President Smart will meet with alumni, donors and friends of Missouri State.
