NCAA Board of Directors meetings, presentations to new academic administrators, College of Natural and Applied Sciences department heads, the Bears football team, and staff in Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services, and a luncheon welcoming new Drury University President Dr. J. Timothy Cloyd highlight the weeks of August 1 – 14 for Missouri State University President Clif Smart.
Tuesday, August 2
President Smart will attend the P-20 Council of the Ozarks meeting at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
Wednesday, August 3 – Thursday, August 4
President Smart will attend meetings in Indianapolis as part of his role on the NCAA Board of Directors.
Friday, August 5
President Smart will join other higher education leaders in the Springfield area at a luncheon welcoming the new president of Drury University, Dr. J. Timothy Cloyd.
Tuesday, August 9
President Smart will speak to resident assistants and other student staff members in Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services as part of their orientation process at Missouri State.
Wednesday, August 10
President Smart will speak at the Thank You Breakfast for the university’s Citizenship and Service-Learning office community partners. He will also speak to fulltime staff in Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services. Later that afternoon, President Smart will welcome international students as they arrive at the Springfield-Branson National Airport.
Thursday, August 11
President Smart will join other Springfield community leaders for the Community Leadership Forum. He will also attend the College of Natural and Applied Sciences department head meeting. That evening, President Smart will speak to the Bears football team.
Friday, August 12
Throughout the weeks
President Smart will meet with alumni, donors and friends of Missouri State.
