Meetings with the Higher Learning Commission peer review team, the dedication of the O’Reilly Clinical Health Sciences Center, a MarooNation event in Rolla and the State of the University address on the West Plains campus highlight the week of Oct. 5-11 for Missouri State University President Clif Smart.
Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 5-6
President Smart will participate in several meetings with the Higher Learning Commission peer review team during their site visit on the Springfield campus.
Monday, Oct. 5
President Smart will speak at the English department’s annual new student welcome.
Tuesday, Oct. 6
President Smart will speak at the Springfield Business Journal’s CEO Roundtable discussion. He will also attend the dedication luncheon for the O’Reilly Clinical Health Sciences Center. That evening President Smart will attend a MarooNation event in Rolla.
Wednesday, Oct. 7
President Smart will participate in a telephone conference as part of his service on the NCAA Board of Directors. He will also speak about leadership to a class at Ozarks Technical Community College.
Thursday, Oct. 8
President Smart will attend the Community Leadership Forum meeting. He will also give the State of the University address on the West Plains campus and attend a Development Board meeting for the West Plains campus. That afternoon President Smart will speak at the Multicultural Reception for faculty and staff.
Friday, Oct. 9
President Smart will meet with the Student Government Association’s Advancement Committee.
Saturday, Oct. 10
Throughout the weeks
President Smart will meet with alumni, donors and friends of Missouri State.
