Where NOT to Park

  • Never park in a lot not authorized by your permit.
  • No residing on parking lots.
  • Never park outside of, or across, painted parking space lines.  Also, never park on or beyond a parking block (wheel stops) or curb. 
  • No overnight RV parking without permission from the Parking Manager.
  • Never park in a disabled parking space unless authorized and displaying a University and state disabled parking permit/license plate.
  • Vehicles pulling utility or livestock trailers must park in lot 44 (call Parking Administration at 417-836-4825.)
  • Never park on grass or sidewalks.
  • Never block a disabled curb cut, crosswalk, driveway, fire lane, gate, trash bin, building access or any parked vehicle.
  • IF AN AREA IS NOT MARKED AS A PARKING SPACE, IT IS A NO PARKING ZONE.
  • In an unpaved lot, watch for curbs or bumpers to guide you.
  • Never park illegally and leave your hazard lights on. If the vehicle is parked illegally, it can be ticketed, wheel-locked and/or towed.
