The Department of Kinesiology is one of Missouri State's largest and most diverse departments, offering a variety of nationally accredited comprehensive academic programs designed to prepare professionals for careers in teaching, coaching, exercise and movement science, recreation, respiratory therapy and radiography.
Current Missouri State University students taking a health and wellness course at another institution during the spring or summer 2014 semesters may still receive credit for KIN 100: Fitness for Living if their transcripts are submitted to the Office of Admissions. Students taking a health and wellness course after the start of fall 2014 will receive elective credit in transfer.
The Department of Kinesiology recognizes the need to stay abreast of the latest developments and utilization of technology in our program areas. Therefore, students will utilize technology in their coursework that will prepare them for future careers as well as graduate school.
