My Learning Connection
When you log-in to My Learning Connection, you have 24/7 access to search for classes, register online and complete online trainings.Accessing My Learning Connection will require your BearPass LogIn and Password. If needed, click here to setup your BearPass Account. Additional tutorials and resources for My Learning Connection are located at this site.

Getting Started with Orientation
New Faculty and Per Course Orientation consists of in-person sessions and completion of required Institutional Equity and Compliance training. Both full-time faculty and per course faculty should attend their orientation, complete their online compliance training, encouraged to particiapte in the recommended Professional Development activities, and review the Emergency and Safety information listed below in preparaton for the academic year and teaching at MSU.

- Attend the Provost's New Faculty Orientation . Contact the Provost Office at 417-836-4589 for assistance.
Per Course Faculty:

Compliance Training (full-time faculty, per course and TAs):
All faculty are required to their compliance training series within the first month of employment. Register for and complete the following Compliance - Equity and Diversity training programs through My Learning Connection. Please refer to these instructions on how to register for and complete your online compliance training:
- Preventing Discrimination and Harassment
- Preventing Sexual Misconduct (Title IX)
HIPAA and FERPA Compliance Training
Please contact your Department Head in regards to your requirement for completing HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Training) or FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) online training. Search under the Compliance - Privacy and Security category in My Learning Connection.
Professional Development (full-time faculty, per course and TAs):
All faculty (Fulltime, Per Course, and TA's) have access to learning opportunities in My Learning Connection for personal and professional development:
- Please visit the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning website for professional development opportunities such as Digital Professor Academy and Showcase for Teaching and Learning (Fall Semester). Per course faculty may attend these events.
- Register for Showcase on Teaching and Learning through My Learning Connection. (follow these iinstructions)
- Register for Blackboard training through My Learning Connection for Blackboard training.

Missouri State University’s annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by the University; and on public property that is within the campus, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
