- Freshman Scholarships - offered to first time entering students who are entering Missouri State from accredited U.S. high schools
- Transfer Scholarships - offered to students entering Missouri State after attending another university or community college
- General and Departmental Scholarships - donor funded scholarships offered to new and currently enrolled MSU students
- Student Government Association Leadership Scholarship - offered to an elected or appointed position in SGA, a SGA committee member, or other recognized campus organization
- Graduate Student Scholarships - offered to students pursuing a graduate degree at Missouri State
- Fellowships - national and international fellowships, scholarships, and grants available for graduate studies
- International Student Scholarships - offered to International students who have graduated from a U.S. high school or have attended a U.S. university or community college
