We hope you and your family will join us for Family Weekend 2013! Family Weekend is an excellent opportunity to visit your student and experience their life in the Missouri State and Springfield communities. Your student will be thrilled to show off their favorite parts of the campus and Springfield, the friends they have made, and the way in which they have developed into a successful student. You can also meet other parents of Missouri State students and become acquainted in a fun and informal setting.
Some tentative special events for Family Weekend include:
- Tailgating at Bearfest Village, before enjoying the Bears home game against Illinois State.
- A special banquet for parents and families.
- A musical showcase featuring Missouri State student organizations.
- Family Weekend competitions, including giveaways and special prizes.
More fun and exciting events for students and families are being planned as well. We hope you take this opportunity to visit your student and enjoy the Missouri State campus.
