Missouri State University has multiple agreements with Liaoning Normal University (LNU) in Dalian, including those listed below.

Associate of Arts in General Studies with an Emphasis in Business

Missouri State University and Liaoning Normal University operate a Branch Campus on the LNU campus, offering a two-year Associate of Arts in General Studies with an Emphasis in Business. After students complete the program, they are eligible to study for a bachelor's degree at the Missouri State University-Springfield campus.

Branch campus courses are taught by qualified instructors credentialed by Missouri State University-West Plains. West Plains and Springfield faculty and per-course instructors are offered the opportunity to teach at the branch campus each year. Other instructors are members of the Liaoning Teachers University faculty or are approved per course instructors from the Dalian area.

The branch campus has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission through Missouri State University- West Plains and continued accreditation is the responsibility of Missouri State University-West Plains.

Missouri State University-West Plains students may apply to spend a semester at LNU. The experience includes a stipend for housing in China. Students or faculty requesting more information, please contact the Office of Academic Affairs at WPAcademics@MissouriState.edu or (417) 255-7272.

Completion Program

The College of Business Administration at the Missouri State University-Springfield campus offers a Bachelors of Science in General Business Degree on the Liaoning Normal University Campus. Dual Masters Degree in Plant Science

Liaoning Normal University and Missouri State University have agreed to collaborate on the basis of their plant science programs and establish an Articulation Agreement for Dual Master's Degrees in Plant Science. The articulation terms will accommodate LNU students in obtaining Master's Degrees in Plant Science from both Missouri State University and LNU. This program was approved by the Missouri State University Board of Governors on May 17, 2002 - Agreement No. 89-02).
