The Center for Dispute Resolution periodically offers basic and advanced mediator training, as well as special-topic workshops. The following training events are currently planned for 2007-2008. This list will be updated as events are added to the training schedule.

Civil and Family Mediator Training
The CDR offers a 40-hour two-part training in civil and family mediation. Completion of the entire 40 hours of training meets the mediation education requirements for Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17 (general civil mediators) and Rule 88 (family mediators).
This highly interactive in-depth training teaches you the skills you need to mediate disputes:

Parenting Coordination Training
Parents who are in chronic high conflict pose particular difficulties for the courts, the professionals who are involved with them, and their children. This training provides an overview of the new professional role of parenting coordination and begins to prepare participants to serve as parenting coordinators.
The Center for Dispute Resolution at Missouri State University and the Greene County Family Court Domestic Relations ADR Program are pleased to offer this unique training for professionals in the Ozarks area. The comprehensive training, led by Dr. Robin Deutsch, will include subject areas outlined in the new 2005 AFCC Guidelines for Parenting Coordination. Topics covered in the training include the following:
