Much of the CDR’s work relies on support those who are passionate about conflict resolution. Your donation can help in a number of ways!
Sponsor a scholarship
Scholarships allow students and community members to attend basic and advanced mediation trainings.
Sponsor our library
Keeping up-to-date on new information in the field is key to the success of any conflict-resolution program. Donations for books, journals subscriptions, and DVDs are another way you can support the work of the CDR
Donate other funds and items
Items currently on the CDR wish-list include:
- Donations for the creation of training and educational videos.
- Art supplies, magazines, etc., for use in youth programs.
- Non-perishable snack items for use in the CDR’s workshops.
- Digital audio recorders for use with focus groups
- A portable projector screen
- Small notebook computers for use by volunteers
Sponsor a training or program
The CDR frequently offers free training for community and campus volunteers for programs including the Victim-Offender Mediation Program, the Victim-Impact Panel Program, the Conflict Resolution in College Program, and trainings and workshops for community non-profits including the Mayor's Commission on Human Rights, CASA, Habitat for Humanity, and others. You or your business or organization can help sponsor these trainings by providing gift cards or in-kind donations of meals, beverages, and snacks or training supplies including binders, dividers, pens, and other training items.
