Getting your card
All students, faculty and staff at Missouri State University need a BearPass Card if they plan to use campus services requiring proof of identity. A photo id is required for new and replacement cards.
The BearPass Card is replacing the Zip Card as Missouri State’s official identification card.
First time and transfer students
The BearPass Cards are issued as a part of SOAR (Student Orientation and Registration) programs for new freshmen and transfer students.
Not attending SOAR?
Other students registering for classes for the first time at the Springfield campus should visit the BearPass Card office, located in Plaster Student Union Room 128, to obtain their card.
Current students, faculty and staff
Current students and employees will pick up a pre-printed BearPass Card during distribution times in January.
