Administrative and Information Services
This effort is pursuant to both state and federal laws including, but not limited to, the following:
The State of Missouri has issued guidance on how to make information technology accessible to those with disabilities in the Missouri Information Technology Accessibility Standard.
In accordance with these guidelines, Missouri State has established a goal to provide accessibility to University information and data. For timelines and implementation details on meeting this goal and complaint procedures, see the Information Technology Accessibility Action Plan.
The University will work toward this goal consistent with prevailing technology and industry standards. The University will also make certain that eligible students, faculty, and staff with disabilities can effectively access information in University environments, such as computer labs, classrooms, offices, and work environments, to the extent that it is reasonable to do so. Access from non-University environments, such as dialup access from home, is not managed by the University.
