The following timeline outlines the information and services you can expect from us in the months to come, as well as some steps that you should take to prepare for your first semester at Missouri State University! Also helpful are our Admitted Student Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
- You will receive information regarding our housing policy and residence halls from the Department of Residence Life and Services (commonly referred to as the "Housing Office"). This will include information on the housing application process and will provide instructions that you must follow to ensure that your admission date will be used as your priority date for housing.
- If you qualify for a scholarship based on the information available to us when you are admitted, you should receive a scholarship offer letter and acceptance form from our director of financial aid. (If you improve your rank, grade point average, and/or tests scores prior to January 15, we will use that information to re-evaluate your scholarship eligibility.)
- If you have an ACT composite score of 27 or higher and are in either the top 10% of your senior class or have a 3.90 grade point average on a 4.00 scale, you will receive an offer of admission to our Honors College. Invitations will be mailed beginning in late October through March.
