If you left the University in good standing (not on probation or suspended), and have not attended another college or university since last attending Missouri State, you may easily reapply to Missouri State and register all at the same time! Once you have met with your academic advisor (this step is needed for all freshmen, sophomore, seniors and graduate students) or have your classes picked out, you can simply go to a registration center and be "quick readmitted" for the semester you wish to attend!
Here is a list of application deadlines. Please keep these deadlines in mind when you are planning to return to Missouri State!
Fall semesters apply before July 20
Spring semesters apply before December 20
Summer semesters apply before May 20
Registration Centers:
Honors students must process registration in the University College, University College Hall, Room 115.
Athletes must process registration in the Athletic Achievement Center, Forsythe, Room 239.
Declared business majors may process registration in the Business Advisement Center, Glass Hall, Room 106A.
Evening college, Graduate, and Extended University Students may process changes in the College of Continuing Education and the Extended University, Carrington Hall, Room 422. The College of Continuing Education and the Extended University is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday.
Undeclared majors may process registrations in the Academic Advisement Center, University College Hall, Room 109.
All other students may process changes in the Registration Center, Carrington Hall, Room 320.
If you did not leave the University in good standing (after your last semester you were on probation or suspended) or you attended another college or university since last attending Missouri State, you will need to apply for readmission. At the present time, our online application for readmit students is not available. Please contact our office at 800 492-7900 or 417 836-5517 to have an application mailed to you. You will need submit this application plus a letter outlining why you feel you will be more successful this time than the last time you attended Missouri State if when you last attended the university you were not in good academic standing.
