The Missouri Valley Conference and Gateway Football Conference also have an elite award for those student-athletes that have excelled in the classroom and are close to graduation.   The criteria for the Presidents' Award are:

• Minimum 3.80 cumulative GPA.
• Participation in athletics, a minimum of two years.
• Must be within 18 hours of graduation.
