What do you need to do before moving in? Discover our must-do items that will make your move-in day as smooth as possible.
Before you arrive
Here are some things that you can take care of in advance to make your move-in day as smooth as possible:
- Find out who your roommates (and suitemates) are via the Housing Channel on My Missouri State
- Talk with your roommates and suitemates about who’s bringing what
- Review the packing list
- Pack everything up in boxes and tubs labeled with your name and room number
- Print off your unloading pass
- Look over the move-in map to plan how you will access your residence hall
Settling in
- Register your computer
- Sign your recreation center waiver via the Wellness Channel on My Missouri State
- Eat in one of the dining centers (parents eat free during move-in!)
- Pick up your textbooks
- Access your class schedule and find your classes
- Purchase or pick up your parking permit
- Participate in all of the great Welcome Weekend activities
