  •  Who is a part of the Multicultural Resource Center?
    The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) assists in the coordination of multicultural events along with various multicultural organizations such as association of black collegians, association of international students, Hispanic-American leadership organization, and multicultural committee.
  • What type of information does the center contain?
    The MRC houses a video library and collection of news letters, magazines, and other resources which gives student access to new information on current issues, trends in the job market and preparation for graduate and professional studies.
  •  How can the MRC help me?
    The MRC gives students, faculty, and staff access to new information on current issues, trends in the job market, preparation for graduate or professional studies, and most importantly provides and avenue to understand and interact with students of various cultural backgrounds.
  • How can I get information of ethnic activities?
    The MRC assists in the coordination of multicultural events that mostly student organizations plan, especially in national heritage months. Please call the MRC at 836-5652, or stop by. Flyers may be available to you.
  • I want my class to have a better understanding of diversity and cultural awareness.
    What would be the best thing to do?
    (Especially, to instructors) the MRC staff presents lectures on various aspects of diversity and information on the MRC. We can visit the class, or you are invited to schedule a "MRC tour."

    How can I contact them?

    The MRC will try to help to locate and fill the requests.

    The computer at the MRC is available to anyone. Please sign up at the MRC.

    The MRC publishes the newsletter, the source, in which you can get update information on the MRC. Please stop by the MRC.

  • When is the center open?
    The MRC is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We are eager to meet new students and assist them in understanding cultural diversity.
