HTML Forms

Web developers may use Web Press or other Web authoring software to create online forms. The University supports methods that allows these forms to send results to an email address or send results to a database. Web developers may contact the Web Help Desk for support with these methods.

Additionally, web strategy and development creates web forms for University units. See Web Works website for service and cost details.

Forms requiring security

Web developers should place online forms that ask for private or restricted information in a secure website.

Forms requiring advanced scripting

Web Works creates Web forms for University units, including those requiring security or advanced scripting. See the Web Works website for service and cost details.

Web developers may use advanced scripting (such as asp, asp.net, or php pages) to process form results, but web strategy and development does not provide programming support for web developers using these methods.

Departments wanting online forms that need to update administrative data should consult with computer services management information systems.
