Residence Life

I want to learn in my residential community!

Get involved with those living around you through your residence hall’s experiences as you build lifelong friendships. Help your fellow students make their Missouri STATEment through engagement in academic, social, and volunteer activities in your LLC, by becoming an RA/CA, or by joining a hall council or the Residence Hall Association.

LLCs are specialized living environments that connect students’ inside- and outside-the-classroom experiences. Each LLC is unique, but all are centered on a distinctive theme or academic interest area. Students who choose to live in an LLC have access to intentional events and programs and dedicated faculty/staff members who work to make the community a success.

RAs/CAs help build community within the residence halls and apartments by planning educational, academic, and social activities, and events; by fostering relationships with residents; and by encouraging campus involvement. It is a great opportunity for you to further develop your leadership skills, get involved on campus, and make lifelong friends.

If you enjoyed student council in high school, you may be interested in your building’s hall council or the Residence Hall Association. Both offer diverse programming and leadership opportunities to on-campus students and are great platforms for student leaders to influence their residential communities.
