“People on campus and in West Plains are very kind and willing to help you with whatever you need.”

Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains?

I was looking to transfer from Odessa College last year, and Assistant Coach Reggie Freeman from the basketball team called me and said a lot of nice things about Missouri State-West Plains. I believed him and I signed here.

How would you describe your experience here?

First, people on campus and in West Plains are very kind and willing to help you with whatever you need. Academically, I like it because I’ve learned a lot of new things about everything.

What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains?

Like I said, people are very nice and willing to help you with everything, so that made me feel comfortable. Among some other things, I like that the most.

What has been your favorite course?

My favorite course was my Fundamentals of Public Speaking (COM 115) class from last semester.

How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains?

They helped me a lot, first with choosing my classes for my semesters, then with preparing for exams, studying, etc.

How did you choose your major?

I’ve chosen it because I was already in general studies in my first year in Odessa College in Texas. I just wanted continue with it, finish it and then transfer to complete the next two years at another University.

What have you learned from the Missouri State University-West Plains athletic program that will help you succeed in your education, career, or life?

I have learned a lot about teamwork, about giving your best shot every day, and also how important this opportunity is to have free education because of basketball.

What are your plans after graduation?

After I graduate, I would like to sign for some university and keep studying and playing basketball at the highest, but also the best, level possible for further improvement.
