I chose to attend Missouri State-West Plains because of the excellent reputation of the nursing program.

What degree are you pursuing at Missouri State-West Plains? 


How would you describe your experience here?

It has been a wonderful experience. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.

What has been your favorite thing about Missouri State-West Plains?

The university has a great selection of classes, and it’s proximity to my home.

What has been your favorite course?

Introduction to the Biomedical Sciences (BMS 110) – it was the hardest class, but I enjoyed it the most.

How have faculty and staff helped you during your time at Missouri State-West Plains?

They all have been wonderful in making me feel welcome and a part of the Missouri State-West Plains family.

How did you choose your major?

I have the love of caring for people and a lifetime desire to become a registered nurse.

What have you learned from the nursing program that will help you succeed in your education, career or life?

I have learned as much from them as I have learned from my fellow students about how hard work and dedication gets the job done.

What are your plans after graduation?

I want to be a surgical RN and, in time, go into management.
