Data Entry, Questionnaire Development and Analysis Workshop
There are different methods for entering data as this is impacted by the research design and analysis. Therefore, we will discuss general criteria for entering data in order to perform the appropriate analyses.
Questionnaires are a common method for collecting data and the findings we attain from those questionnaires can be dependent on the quality of that instrument. Thus, we will provide analysis procedures to evaluate item validity and reliability.
Power Analysis Workshop
A power analysis determines an estimate of the minimum sample size needed to find an effect. Effect sizes are influenced by the research design, measurement error, and sampling error. During the workshop, we will review statistical terms, methods for estimating effect sizes from published research articles, and how to estimate effect sizes from your data.
Additional Details
The workshops will not be recorded, however, RStats Associates will provide handouts.
Seating will be limited to 20 per topic per date. Therefore, we ask that you enroll in either or both topics to reserve your seat.
