Merchandising and Fashion Product Development

Major requirements (63 hours)

Note: Six hours may double count toward General Education requirements.

Core requirements (39 hours):

1. Specific General Education Requirements: ECO 155(3), PSY 121(3).
2. Grades of C or better are required in all MFD courses to advance to the next level of coursework and to graduate from this program.
3. MFD 101(1), 201(3), 202(3), 210(3), 301(3), 303(3), 304(3), 305(1), 306(3), 307(3), 403(1); MKT 350(3), 351(3).
4. Public Affairs Capstone Experience Requirement will be fulfilled by completion of MFD 304(3); and MFD 401(3) or 402(3).

Complete one of the following options:

Fashion Design option (24 hours):

1. MFD 103(3), 270(3), 370(3), 371(3), 372(3), 402(3), 470(3), 570(3).

Merchandising option (24 hours):

1. ACC 201(3); MFD 362(3), 401(3), 460(3), 560(3); MGT 340(3), MKT 354(3), MKT 365(3).
