Personal Training Policies

Session duration

Sessions are one hour long for a regular personal training session. Express training is a 30 minute option.

Late policy

Sessions that start late will end at the original start time. If the individual arrives 15 + minutes late the session will be considered a no show and will be forfeited.

Cancellation policy

Client must provide 24-hour notice for any cancellations, otherwise the session will be forfeited.

Payment

All personal training sessions must be paid in full prior to training. Sessions must be scheduled 2 days in advance.

Proper attire

Athletic shoes and athletic attire (gym shorts or sweatpants and athletic t-shirt) must be worn at each session and the assessment.

Hydration

It is recommended to maintain proper hydration before, during, and after each session. It is also recommended that a small meal be consumed 60 minutes before each session to ensure adequate energy.

Discontinuing the session

It is the trainer's right to discontinue the session if he or she feels that it is of the best interest to both individuals. It is the patron right to discontinue exercise if you feel uncomfortable.

Personal trainers not employed by Campus Recreation

Any person who is not employed as a Campus Recreation personal trainer and is proven to be personal training on the premises will be subject to membership suspension and possible expulsion.
