Weeks of Nov. 12 – 25, 2018
A university planning mini-retreat, the Board of Governors Executive Committee meeting, the Missouri Partnership Board and the Hawthorn Foundation Board meetings, Bears and Lady Bears basketball and volleyball games, and the university’s First Annual Native and Indigenous Heritage Month Banquet highlight the weeks of Nov. 12 – 25, 2018 for Missouri State University President Clif Smart.
Sunday, Nov. 11 – Wednesday, Nov. 14
President Smart will participate in various meetings in Springfield with Tom Downs, Missouri State’s federal government relations consultant.
Monday, Nov. 12
President Smart will join other administrative and academic leaders throughout the university for a planning mini-retreat. He will also meet with an accreditation team for the art and design department.
Tuesday, Nov. 13
President Smart will attend the Board of Directors meeting for Mercy Health Springfield Communities. He will also meet with the Presidential Diversity Committee. That evening, President Smart will attend the Springfield Contractors Association Salute to Construction Banquet.
Wednesday, Nov. 14
President Smart will attend the Board of Governors Executive Committee meeting.
Thursday, Nov. 15 – Friday, Nov. 16
President Smart will attend meetings with the Missouri Partnership Board and the Hawthorn Foundation Board in Kansas City.
Friday, Nov. 16
President Smart will attend the Bears home volleyball game.
Saturday, Nov. 17
Sunday, Nov. 18 – Wednesday, Nov. 21
President Smart will travel to Kansas City to attend the Bears basketball games at the Hall of Fame basketball tournament.
Wednesday, Nov. 21 – Sunday, Nov. 25
Missouri State University will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Friday, Nov. 23 – Saturday, Nov. 24
President Smart will attend the Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship that Missouri State University is hosting.
Throughout the weeks
President Smart will meet with alumni, donors and friends of Missouri State.
