Opportunities for High School Students Interested in Nursing
Do you have what it takes to be a Bear?
Visit the Missouri State University campus and the School of Nursing to learn more about your journey to become a nurse! Learn about the educational requirements and career outcomes of our nursing students and meet with a pre-nursing advisor to answer any and all questions you may have.
A tour is the best way to experience all Missouri State has to offer. Campus tours are led by University Ambassadors, student volunteers who are excited to introduce you to campus and share their experiences. When you schedule a campus tour, you can add a special tour with the School of Nursing. The School offers Monday and Friday tours in the fall and spring terms and Friday tours during the summer term. Nursing visits consist of a presentation conducted by a pre-nursing advisor and a tour of the simulation lab, which utilizes high-fidelity mannequins. All tours offer discussions with a pre-nursing advisor at the end of the visit.
Explore all Missouri State has to offer during the Showcase open house--perfect for high school juniors and seniors, transfer students, and their families. During Showcase, you will meet MSU faculty, staff, and students; tour campus; visit with student leaders during the organization fair; learn about admissions, financial aid, and housing; and get admitted to Missouri State. Tours of the School of Nursing simulation lab, which utilizes high-fidelity mannequins, are available where you can speak to a nursing faculty member and pre-nursing advisor to discuss any questions you may have regarding the program.
Summer Visit Day
