William T. Grega
Research and professional interests
William T. Grega, director of the Choral Union, joins the Missouri State University Choral Studies Program following a successful thirty-one year career as a high school choral director. He is the President of the Missouri Choral Directors Association (MCDA) and has served as Choral Vice-President of the Missouri Music Educators Association (MMEA). During his twenty-three years at Parkview High School, he led invitational choral performances at the MMEA Conference three times as well as for the American Choral Directors Association Southwestern Division Conference in Houston, Texas.
Grega received the Presidential Award of Excellence from MCDA, and he was inducted into the Education Hall of Excellence and the Fine Arts Hall of Fame by his alma mater Culver-Stockton College. He holds a Master's degree in Music Education from Southeast Missouri State University.
