Per Course BearPAF Facts

  • At this time, the BearPAF is only for hiring of part-time per course faculty beginning the spring 2016 semester. All other actions for per course faculty, such as online compensation (per student stipends, en-route pay, etc.), full-time faculty teaching overload and full-time staff teaching per course still need to be completed on the paper PAF.
  • Notice of new approvals will arrive once every 24 hours. Any workflow that is in the approval process seven days or longer will generate a reminder notification to the approver.
  • Appointment letters will be generated and an email will be sent to the Per Course Instructor after the Dean’s approval.
  • BearPAF’s will now need to be initiated for each individual course.

Contact information

It is very important to provide a personal email address and mailing address for new per course faculty member. This information should be in the application in the applicant tracking system. Please encourage all per course to check their university email at least weekly for important information.
