1/2/07 - 1/12/07 Meetings with all Job Family 3 incumbents to describe the processes involved with the Compensation Project

Job analysis

2/1/2007 (originally 1/18/07) Meeting with Job Family 3 Leadership and supervisors to coordinate the job description review process and review the compensable factors
1/22/07 - 2/28/07 Review of job descriptions and approval by the Cost Center administrator. Revised job descriptions were approved by the Cost Center administrator and sent to Human Resources by February 28, 2007.

Job evaluation

02/15/07 Appointment of a single Job Evaluation committee.
04/02/07 - 04/20/07 Job Family 3 Job Evaluation committee meets to evaluate all Job Family 3 jobs using compensable factors to assign points to each job. The committee met Monday April 2, 2007 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and Wednesdays and Fridays (April 4, 11, 13, 18, and 20) from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
05/2007 and 09/2007 The Compensation Team develops new pay grades and ranges for all Job Family 1 jobs. Benchmark jobs were priced with salary survey data from multiple sources and a pay line is developed by associating job evaluation points with a dollar value for benchmark jobs.
10/2007 Admin Council reviewed and approved the pay grade and range assignments.
