All full-time and part-time faculty and staff hired on or before January 1, 2016 are required to complete the Institutional Equity and Compliance Refresher Training by Friday, May 18, 2018.
This requirement is addressed in the University’s Policy Library under the 2.2.1 Discrimination and Harassment Training Policy.
The Refresher Training consist of two online training programs, Preventing Discrimination and Harassment and Preventing Sexual Misconduct (Title IX). All required employees have been automatically enrolled in the training programs through My Learning Connection and they can access the training under their transcript area. Additionally, employees will receive an email notification requesting that they complete the two training programs.
Completion of the refresher training is important, as it supports compliance efforts and the University’s commitment to provide all members of our community a place of study and work free from discrimination and harassment.
Please follow these instructions to complete both online programs and to document your completion with your electronic signature in My Learning Connection. Your completion data is documented electronically so you do not need to send any documentation forward except as requested by your supervisor.

If an employee does not have access to a computer in his or her work area, a computer in one of the various computer labs on campus may be used during normal work hours to complete the online training. Employees should consult supervisors regarding an approved time or location to complete the training during scheduled work hours.
Please ensure that employees in your respective areas complete the required training programs. Supervisors can view transcript information for FT employees through the My Team function in My Learning Connection. Transcripts will be updated to reflect successful completion for each course, and certificates of completion may be printed to provide to supervisor if needed. The certificate will remain available in the transcript area of My Learning Connection if it is needed at a later date. Please follow these instructions to access and retrieve reports for your employees.
