What is the CSD AAC Language Lab?
The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Lab houses equipment and resources that support the MSU Speech Language Hearing Clinic, academic courses, and faculty and student research. Resources in the lab include high tech AAC devices such as the Tobii Dynavox I series, the Prentke Romich Accent, and the Saltillo Nova Chat. In addition, the lab houses several iPads with communication apps. In addition, the lab contains low-tech communication devices and boards, AAC assessment materials and resources, and alternative access equipment such as switches and adapted keyboards.
