Items for Discussion:
Jane Terry (Administrative Assistant REL) will be contacting departments about providing help with editing web pages through Webpress.
Update on faculty searches – there are five faculty searches under way. All but two have now gone through the on-line approval process and the other two should do so shortly.
OTC pathways – CNAS has met with OTC Science faculty to solidify a pathway for transfer into the undergraduate and the accelerated masters programs in chemistry and biology. See their web page template. CHPA Heads are urged to do something similar to facilitate transfers into our programs.
Undergraduate degree in General Studies – The Provost has asked the Deans to do some preliminary study of the viability of developing a General Studies degree at MSU. A three-person faculty committee has now been formed to take this a step further. Kathy Pulley (REL) will serve as CHPA rep to committee.
