Items for Discussion:
Enrollment Targets: Don Simpson has asked each college to supply three-year enrollment target numbers. Each CHPA Head is asked to supply these numbers to the Dean within two weeks.
General Education Update: Now that the Faculty Senate has passed the structure for the new General Education program, Heads were encouraged to work with their faculty to determine which of their courses that they plan to submit to CGEIP. There should be receiving a call for proposals from CGEIP shortly.
Graduate Faculty: Heads were reminded that all faculty who teach 700-level graduate courses must submit the paperwork for admission to Graduate faculty status.
Additional topics discussed included the status of the five faculty hires currently underway, and the number of faculty who have indicated that they are interested in applying for sabbatical.
