Academic Development Center

The Academic Development Center offers programs and resources in professional development, instructional development for faculty, teaching assistants and departments. Centrally located in Meyer Library 204, the Center has regularly scheduled workshops and seminars on a variety of topics such as Time Management, Tenure and Promotion, Testing and Grading, and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. The ADC also offers research and development projects, print and electronic resources, and meeting facilities. Faculty are encouraged to contact the Center for individualized consultations and other networking opportunities. The ADC collaborates closely with other offices to enhance faculty efforts in instructional technology. Two multimedia computer systems and two digital camcorders are available for faculty use. The Center will have online seminars in Disability Awareness and in Course Design starting fall 2003.
