Individualized Programs of Study

Missouri State offers many individualized programs of study for each area of certification available to its postbaccalaureate students.

None of the offered programs of study apply to undergraduate students. Please contact the Education Advisement for information regarding undergraduate majors.

Master of Arts in Teaching, MAT

The secondary education programs offer certification and a master's degree through the MAT program. Refer to the individualized program of study for the desired certification for the required course sequence.

The special requirements coursework and the professional education coursework will be replaced by the MAT courses. The content area coursework will remain the same. Please contact the MAT academic advisor for more information via 417-836-5429.
